Musician Bebe Cool has always supported President Museveni and in a new song, he urges voters to continue voting for Museveni.
Titled “Mumwongele akalulu”, a Luganda phrase meaning add him more votes, the song outlines the achievements for NRM government since it took power in 1986.
He urges Ugandans who treasure peace to keep the old man in power.
A section of his followers believe Bebe Cool dropped the song to milk Sevo's cash. They believe he will soon be awarded with a brown envelope for composing the song in support of Museveni.
In October 2015, different Ugandan musicians came together and composed a campaign song titled 'Tubonga naawe' for president Museveni. They were later paid Shs 400M.
