Rapper Recho Ray is determined go miles in the music industry.
She posted on Facebook saying she will be the first female artiste in Uganda to win a BET Award.
She posted, "I will be the first female artist to bring a BET award in Uganda 🇺🇬 Mark this date".
However, some of her followers mocked her saying she should concentrate on dropping quality music instead of having sex on bar tables.
Others advised her to work hard and be humble if she wants to go far in the industry.
Recho Ray recently split with her longtime manager but she believes that won’t stop her from winning.
Eddy Kenzo is the first Ugandan artiste to win the BET accolade in the Best Viewers Choice category.
Radio and Weasel also earned a nomination in the past.
The BET awards are some of the most prestigious awards in the world.
