The music industry is at a sky rocket speed and every year new artistes crop up, 2016 has been a blessing to some young star that we think will own 2017. These artistes have outed some good projects and if the talent is put to efficient utilisation 2017 will be labelled a year of blessings.

10. Nina Roz

She is the Ugandan Amber Rose, the very tall and beautiful lady .We are not shy to say she is the future of Ugandan music. Nina Rose began her career in Team no sleep earlier this year which quit after brawls with Sheebah Karungi. This gorgeous lady has a rare attitude which will be loved by many and her popular song is Mekete that features Rodney Y.

Genda Ogule E'motoka is another fast rising jam for Kampala music fans. Lily Pazo has been around and when you make some good research you will get know the struggling singer has been doing shows in areas of Masaka, Mpigi and very popular and appealing to the downtown market. After that, he left the country for studies in the UK upon return Chosen has a big song on the 2016 top chat, Wadawa that features Sheeba has been a blessing for him. Chosen has also outed jams like Byebyo and Byakyalo.

The energetic performer that acts like he works on UMEME's Yaka has had a great year, with a concert to his name already. Rodney also from Team No Sleep is destined for big and will leave many wanting more from him. Rodney Y is the future of the dancehall music genre.

Guess y'all reading this have danced to Farmer song featuring Sheebah Karungi, Farmer song  is the club anthem lately and you can't spend two hours in the bar minus hearing it play. The song was originally written by YKee Benda but became catchy after Sheeba jumping on it. He has also outed songs like Muna Kampala, Eva featuring Deejay Roger and Slick. Ykee Benda is signed to Badi Music group.

Born to Conquer music group comprising of 3 boys has not done badly this year and we expect more fire the following year. B2c have energetically broken the walls of the upcoming syndrome. Tokigezaa, Nkwagala with Maro among others, are some of the jams that have made their year incredible.I happen to bump into them at club Amnesia and was told next year a concert is coming up.
