The dynamic duo Radio & Weasel last night held their 'Omwana Wa'bandi' concert at hotel Africana were they treated their fans to an action packed experience. Well, the duo has been going through some kind of wrath with the public ever since their laid hands on the 'Tubonga Nawe' project which was dedicated to praise the incumbent president and push him to another term in office.

At the beginning of this year, most of the artists like Jose Chameleone, King Saha that have always held their concerts in the first half of the year went silent to declare their dates and venues but good life came out and still stood with May position which they have been doing for the last nine (9) years since 2008 of Nakudatta.

Crowds that turned up for the event

All hasn't been an easy sale for this show especially with the ongoing 'boycott Activism', this is the first year they have lost out on Club Beer as their mother sponsor thus pushing Bob Kins of Kijjo media away who has always bought their shows off.  They had a poor show turn up in Dubai with a hand full of fans earlier this year, Radio had to cut off his dreads to at least create some heat.

A whilst all this Heineken jumped on board as giant sponsor, NBS, Galaxy FM 100. 2 and guess what Africana was shuttered down. By 7pm there wasn't much hope as revelers trotted in simple numbers but by 9pm the venue was packed to capacity.

Some of the night's curtain risers included Mun G, Maro, Mina Izah, Bebecool and Jose Chameleone. By 10:50 pm Radio and weasel wearing silk white coats and black trousers took on stage with their Talk and talk hit song and performed most of the fans favorite songs like Breathe away, Ngenda Mumaaso, Bread and Butter before breaking off and returned with the hit banger Juicy Juicy and show closed at exactly Midnight.

The show was organized by Kijo media and lest hope all the other artists were give light and hope that they still hold a position in Ugandan's hearts.
