11-year-old Quvenzhane Wallis’ movie pay packet revealed -- $750,000 for Just "Annie"

FOR an 11-year-old, a $750,000 payday sounds pretty good. Young star Quvenzhane Wallis pulled in three quarters of a million dollars for her lead role in Annie, with the potential to double it if the movie does well.

But despite rave reviews for her role, she took a massive pay cut for her next film.

TMZ reports the young star will receive just a $40,000 base salary for her role in the upcoming “Fathers and Daughters” starring Russell Crowe and Aaron Paul.

“But wait, there are bonuses ... if Fathers and Daughter’s hauls in $35m at the box office she’ll score $25,000 and receive another $25,000 for every $5m jump after that, with a max bonus of $200,000,” the website reports.

It’s a measly sum compared to her Annie role, but I guess it can buy a whole lot of candy.

Wallis is currently the youngest actress ever to receive a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress (age nine for her role in Beasts of the Southern Wild).
