Museveni Gives shs400M to Artistes at ‘Tubonga Naawe’ Launch

The biggest names in the Ugandan entertainment industry last evening stormed Speke Resort Hotel Munyonyo where they invited the Prez at the launch of their new song ‘Tubonge naawe’ ... to aid his 2016 presidential campaign.

The artistes who attended the launch include Pallaso, Bebe Cool, Dr. Jose Chameleone, Kinga Saha, Mun-G, Gravity Omutujju, Comedian Ann Kansiime and Brian Ahumuza of Abrynz Collection ... among others who were all clad in yellow, the color for NRM.

Many artistes confessed that it was a very huge privilege to dine with the prez.

“I don’t know if the president himself did but I wanna thank who ever invited me to dinner with the President this evening; it was a dream moment of my life.” -- Pallaso told Chimpreports.

When he was given the chance to speak, Gagamel top-dog, Bebe Cool who has been a staunch supporter of the NRM assured President Museveni that all the musicians present at the event are determined to do everything possible to see him win the 2016 presidential elections.

“I would like to assure you Mr. President that we will crush anybody that will come your way.” -- He said.

The ‘Tubonge nawe’ song whose video was shot at Namboole Stadium a few weeks ago was also lauched by the president who also entertained the invited guests by dancing to Jose Chameleone’s hit song ‘Badilisha’.

The President also offered the artistes UGX 400M as a token of appreciation for their support.
