Drake and Beyoncé previously teamed up last year on “Mine”, a track appearing on Queen Bey’s self-titled fifth studio album. Now, she’s returning the favor with a guest spot on Drake’s forthcoming album, Views From the Six.
The two have joined forces for “Can I”. It’s a brooding number with creeping synths and a slow stomp of a bass over which Drake asks, “Before I turn the lights out/ tell me who the fuck you wanna be.” For her part, Bey simply asks, “Can I, baby?”
After leaking online back in May, Drake debuted the finished version of the track during this weekend’s OVO Sound Radio
