A photo of singer Ragga Dee (Daniel Kazibwe) without his dreadlocks has been circulating on social media with several reports claiming he had cut off the dreadlocks ahead of the 2016 vote. Ragga Dee has been in the spotlight ever since he announced his ambitions to contest for Kampala Mayoral seat in the coming elections.

The biggest subject of debate has been his allegedly chopped dreadlocks but when the singer appeared on the Mc Luzze Anderson’s Morning Flavor Entertainment show, he surprisingly had his dreadlocks on, something that shocked the youthful presenter.

Asked to comment about the allegations, Ragga Dee said he was not willing to cut off his dreads because that doesn’t change who he is “I can’t chop off my dreads because I want people to believe in me, My hair has nothing to do with what I can do for this city, I will keep my dreadlocks because I want remain the same Ragga dee that everyone knows”

The self-proclaimed grandfather of musicians was further asked on whether he would be quitting music after joining politics “ I have been juggling music with so many things for a long time, I am a business man and a musician so this thing of doing music and other things is not new to me, I can still handle”

A photo that sparked the rumors
