The Wale Wale singer has finally revelled how feels about most international artists that come to perform in Uganda. Apparently, Chameleone believes that some of these artist don’t deserve the hype they receive.

This can be linked to why he rejected to perform at Davido concert back in December 2014. Chameleone was scheduled to perform alongside singer Juliana Kanyomozi, but he didn’t show up, so Pallaso and Desire Luzinda curtain raised for Davido.

His soul reason for his action is more patriotic than personal, he said;

International artists don’t deserve to be given the hype they receive, “people who keep the industry rolling, people like me, people like Bebe CoolRadio and Weasel, we are just put as small letters as additions and that makes us look very weak”

The valu Valu singer also added that local artists have a very big influenece on country’s tax returns and investment:

“They come take tax free money and go back home. They go to their hotel room, perform and go and won’t invest back to the country.”
