Clever J is a cousin to the Mayanja's. Many people had expected to see him at the send-off of the elder Mayanja, but he didn't show up.
Clever J explained that the father of Chameleon, Pallaso, and Weasel stopped him from speaking about the Mayanja family and told him to forget about them.
"I couldn't turn up because Mzee Mayanja asked me to forget about his family. He stopped me from coming close to them, and I wouldn't risk it," he partly said in an interview with a local television.
Clever J also insisted he couldn't show up for Humphrey because none of the Mayanja brothers showed up when he lost his mother.
"I don't remember seeing anyone from the Mayanja family when I lost my mother. No one came for the burial, and it's one of the reasons I didn't show up as well," he said.
Humphrey Mayanja was buried on Wednesday this week in Kalangalo, Mityana District.
