Musician Vinka topped 2023 with her biggest songs "Bailando" and "Believe," in which she featured Dax Vibez.
The singer, however, said her bosses never supported the release of the "Bailando" song at first. To them, it didn't sound like a magical song that could come on to become a hit.
She said when they sat with her manager and bosses at Swangz Avenue, Benon Mugumbya, and Julius Kyazze trashed the song, but they were overpowered by the committee, hence its release.
"Actually, Benon and Julius never wanted that song to come out because they didn't feel it would be a big song. However, after sitting as the listening committee, they were overpowered by numbers who supported it, and that's how it was released," she partly said.
Vinka, however, maintains 2023 was just the start, and her fans should watch out for 2024 because more is on its way.
