The long-awaited performance of UB40 in Kampala was postponed by the event organizers on Tuesday.
The organizers of the event expressed disappointment in the postponement but revealed the reasons were beyond their control due to unforeseen circumstances at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
It is reported that promoter Balam Barugahara had initially booked the venue for the President to speak to the Ghetto youths on Wednesday, and the organizers of the UB40 concert couldn't manage to organize the venue in a night, hence postponing the event.
The UB40 featuring Ali Campbell concert was set to take place on Thursday, December 21st.
Talent Africa and Next Media, however, revealed a new date will be announced for the event.
