CEO of Abryanz Collections, Ahumuza Brian, widely known as Abryanz, has made an unexpected announcement that the annual Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards (ASFAs) will not take place in 2023. These prestigious awards, which typically occur in December each year at Serena Hotel, have only been canceled twice previously, in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year, in 2022, the ASFAs were successfully held, celebrating the achievements of numerous celebrities from Uganda and beyond. Unfortunately, for reasons that remain unclear, the awards will not be happening in 2023.

Abryanz took to his social media platforms to address his supporters and fans, urging them to exercise patience and wait for the ASFAs to return in 2024. He promised that the 2024 ASFAwards ceremony would be a unique and exceptional event.

In an official statement, Abryanz revealed,

"The Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs), a prestigious event in the African fashion community, has taken the unprecedented decision not to hold its 2023 event. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors, partners, and all stakeholders for their unwavering support throughout the years. We look forward to coming together in December 2024 for the most remarkable fashion event of the year."

It's worth noting that Abryanz often travels abroad to pursue his fashion ventures, often accompanied by his close friend, Sheilah Gashumba. Additionally, ASFAs hold a prominent position as the most renowned fashion awards in Uganda.
