For many artists, their breakthrough song holds a special place in their hearts, but for Jackie Chandiru, her breakout hit is ironically the one she despises the most.
According to the former Blu*3 member, she never liked the song "Gold Digger" right from the start. Even after its production, she hesitated to shoot the accompanying video. Washington, the producer, had to persistently urge her to proceed with the video production.
Chandiru revealed,
"Gold Digger is a song I never liked, actually, right from the start. Washington kept asking me for the video, and I kept avoiding him and not taking his calls because I disliked the song. However, he cornered me one day and threatened not to give me the master unless I agreed to make the video, which I eventually did. But to this day, it's a song that continues to haunt me."
