The multi-award-winning artist decided to take his dental aesthetics to a whole new level by acquiring a flawless diamond tooth, a departure from the typical grills and silver teeth often seen in the music industry. Davido couldn't contain his excitement about this unique addition to his appearance.
Announcing the news to his massive following of over 27.6 million on Instagram, Davido shared that he was getting a diamond tooth. He elaborated on the process, revealing his plan to replace an existing tooth with a custom-fitted diamond. In an Instagram video,
Davido jubilantly expressed, "We are going to take this out and fix a whole diamond in it, it's going to be a whole diamond," while dancing in celebration.
True to his word, Davido later shared a video showcasing his newly adorned tooth – a small, sparkling diamond embedded in his upper teeth. His joy was evident as he flexed his new accessory, displaying it for all to see.
The diamond-studded dental work was performed by Houston-based celebrity cosmetic dentist Syed Shere, known as Bollywood Saif on social media. Syed shared insights into the procedure, posting videos of Davido proudly flaunting his new diamond tooth.
Davido continued to exhibit his million-dollar smile on his Instagram stories, captioning one image with, "I can't stop smiling," accompanied by a laughing emoji.
The cost of Davido's diamond tooth is estimated to be around $100,000, equivalent to approximately Sh37 million. This expenditure is just a fraction of the artist's recent extravagant purchases.
Notably, he acquired a custom-made diamond chain valued at $350,000. Sharing the reveal of this opulent neckpiece on his Instagram stories, Davido showcased its stunning features, including a captivating rotating hourglass that releases diamonds instead of sand when set in motion.
