Daniel Irish Kanyerezi joined Next Media Services in September 2022, after taking a long break following his departure from Capital FM in October 2021.
He assumed the role of Music Director for the media company and held this position for 11 months, overseeing music content at NBS TV, Next Radio, Sanyuka TV, NBS Sport Ug, and Salam TV Ug.
However, on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, Kanyerezi surprised everyone when he announced his resignation from the company via social media.
He officially resigned on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, and also mentioned that he would no longer be presenting the "Next Night Shift" show on Next Radio.
Though he did not disclose the specific reasons behind his decision, Kanyerezi expressed his gratitude to the management and team at Next Media for providing him with a great opportunity to showcase his talents. In his message, he bid farewell to his colleagues, referring to them as "Transformers," and extended his well-wishes to them for the future.
As of now, there is not much information available about his next move, leaving everyone curious about his future plans.
