Zari Hassan is in love with Shakib Lutaaya who is about 10 years younger than her.
In an interview with local television, Shakib's older sister only known as Shakira disclosed that their family is proud of Zari.
She explained they don't have a problem with the relationship and the two will continue to receive blessings from all family members.
"We accepted her as our own and we don't have a problem with the relationship. I am here with the two because love is about the heart, not the people. It's a big moment for us as a family," she partly said in an interview with a local television while attending Zari's All White Party in Bugolobi.
Early this month, Zari revealed the two will formalize their relationship this year.
