After a two-year, pandemic-induced hiatus, Big Talent Entertainment boss, Eddy Kenzo announced that the Eddy Kenzo Festival is back on.

He is set to hold the festival in November this year and believes it will continue to take place even after his death.

Speaking in an interview with local television, Kenzo explained the festival is something beyond the music, it's an event that will be happening every year and will be a celebration of African culture.

"I want the festival to live on even after my death. The concept is about celebrating the African culture through music and dance," he said.

In March 2020, as music lovers geared up for the Eddy Kenzo Festival which was slated for 28th March 2020 at Kololo Airstrip, events were banned as President Museveni sent the country into lockdown.
