The date to vote for the new Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) President is closing in, but the organizing committee is yet to decide on whether to hold the voting by secret ballot or line up behind candidates as it has been in the past.
According to one of the contestants, King Saha, the organizers should make a stand quickly if they want the contestants and their supporters to trust the process.
“We have not been informed about the process. As contestants, we should be aware of how we are going to vote,” he said in an interview.
King Saha will tussle it out with Cindy Sanyu.
King Saha’s supporters are worried the vote could be twisted to favor Cindy as she supports NRM as opposed to King Saha who subscribes to the opposition.
