A few days back, singer Mudra announced that he had pulled out of the Buzz Tenniez Awards where he had been nominated among the best songwriters.
Mudra turned it down under the pretext that he has not written any songs for people and he doesn’t deserve to be in that category.
His action raised eyebrows and many music observers are giving opinions.
NBS host Douglas Lwanga thinks the singer should credit himself for being a good songwriter.
“I think @Mudradviral is putting a lot of weight on himself. Just one award ceremony shouldn't make him feel less of himself,” Douglas said during his show After 5.
Mudra was nominated alongside Daddy Andre, Azawi, and Unknown.
