Comedian Sam Okanya is bitter with media outlets and social media in-laws for calling his newlywed wife an 'ancestor'.
This came after he flooded his timeline with pictures of their wedding.
In an interview, he defended his relationship saying his wife, Christine, is young and beautiful, Ugandans are just envious of his new life.
He confirmed that she is not 70 years old as reported by the media.
He went on to say that he dated her for six months before they both decided to spend the rest of their lives together.
"Ugandans are just jealous. I dated Christine for over 6months before I decided to marry her. We genuinely love each other," he said in an interview.
The Mighty family comedian has been out of the country for over 6months. He left shortly after the January 2021 general elections.
