Legendary musician Jose Chameleone has advised entertainers across the country to demand their rights to perform.
The musician said the arts industry has been locked up for over a full year and entertainers can't freely showcase their talent.
"No one will fight for us as an industry, we need to do it by ourselves. We have not been earning for over a year yet we have been releasing music. We need to get back to work just like other sectors," he partly said during a meeting with fellow entertainers in Kampala.
He called upon them to put pressure on the government and be allowed back onto the stage. Just like other business people, they deserve to earn from their investment since they have been releasing new music.
