Serena Hotel Kampala is a prestigious place to host a wedding. One should have deep pockets to be able to host an event there and earn bragging rights.
In a new interview, he confirmed that he was the first musician to host a wedding at the Kampala Serena Hotel after it changed its name from Nile Hotel.
Ragga Dee said he was pushed to hold the wedding at Serena because people thought musicians were bandits and couldn’t do serious things.
"I hosted my wedding there to show people that we are serious beings too," he explained.
Other musicians like Chameleone have since followed suit.
