Singer Jose Chameleone who recently contested as Kampala City Mayor has promised to drop a music album as a way to announce he is still active in the music business despite fears that he could quit in favor of politics.

In an interview, Chameleone revealed that he is working on an album with several music producers and it will be out soon.

“The album is going to be called, The Chameleone I know,” he said.

Chameleone says he will forever be a musician even when he pursues political ambitions.

“I released a hit song, Kiggwa Leero, during the heat of political campaigns. Music is in my bones. I am going to do it always. I can’t move away from it,” he explained.
