NBS TV suffered backlash on social media after the hosts of Saturday night Lights( SNL) appeared dressed in “All Lives Matter” T-Shirts, a hashtag used by people who are against “Black Lives Matter” movement world wide.
The ignorant presenters who supported unfair treatment of blacks included; Douglas Lwanga, Zahara Toto, Mc, Isaac, and Mc Mercy among others.
And the public was unforgiving towards them as they accused the station of being insensitive in their quest to remain relevant.
Whereas many insulted and trolled the NBS crew, Police boss Asan Kasingye defended them.
“All lives matter. Even the constitution says so. We must all protect life regardless of who it is. That’s my mandate under article 212 (1) of the constitution. I am not a sloganist. All lives matter,” he said attracting a barrage of criticism.
