One of Kampala’s biggest social events, Roast and Rhyme returned on Sunday at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo.
The event was graced by fun lovers from all walks of life.
Dressed in tantalizing outfits, they enjoyed performances from A Pass, John Blaq, Janzi Band among others.
The biggest performance of the night was from the new kid on the block Azaawi. She put up a master class show to the excitement of the crowd.
Azaawi performed cover songs from Konshens, Busy Signal, Radio and Weasel before dropping a bomb with her recently released ‘Lo Fit’ EP that has songs like Lo Fit, Crazy lover, Mbinyumirwa, Repeat it and the hit song, Quinamino that has taken Ugandans by storm.
Azaawi performed for close to 45 minutes but everyone was satisfied with her showcase.
