Comedy duo Madrat and Chiko held their annual “Nseko Buseko” concert at UMA Exhibition Hall a week ago.
Their show was a total sale out and the venue was filled to capacity by 7:30pm. They collected huge amouts of money at the entrance.
However, their joy was short lived as thugs broke into their car and walked away with a laptop, phone and liquid cash amounting to 75M.
The money was stolen from Chiko’s Toyota Kluger car that was parked at one of the city’s top hotels.
The comedians however continued with their extra shows that saw them perform in other areas like Jinja with the hope of making more money.
According to our source, this is not the first time thugs have stolen money from Chiko’s car after their concert. The same incident happened last year.
