Singer Jose Chameleone and his young brother Pallaso joined Democratic party on Thursday ahead of elections in 2021.
Chameleone is coming as Kampala Lord Mayor on DP ticket while Pallaso will contest as Member of Parliament for Kawempe South.
Chameleone and Pallaso were given extra ordinary welcome by the Democratic party members as if they had seen their saviours.
Through his social media platforms, Chameleone stated that he has always wanted to work with DP members. He promised not to let them down.
"As we draw forward to 2021, we are together as a country. We are going to make decisions and amendments to benefit we the common man and our future descendants fairly.
I would never ever be here without the confidence of the people who believed in me since day one until today.
There is going to be No other way to pay back my loyalty than standing with my people in this time.
I greatly commend my fellow youths for standing in unity as that’s the only option left that will reignite our hope and courage to move on as a strong generation.
At a high note, I Thank the entire Democratic Party comrades for honoring me this invite to your Headquarters at City House today evening to discuss the best way we can work together for the beat benefit of our Countrymen and Country at large.
