Media personality, Siima Sabiti will get married this Friday to one Bernard whom she has never met. They have been friends on twitter for a longtime.
"Bernard and I were making random conversations on Twitter about marrying ourselves to get our families off our backs. Within 24 hours the #KaBernzwedding was buzzing," says Siima.
The two will stage a fake wedding and they will not go back home together as husband and wife.
Siima is only making a statement that marriage is not really important. She has been pressured for a long time to find a man and settle.
She wields some fair amount of influence on Twitter and has achieved profoundly in her career. She was recently appointment, Flair Magazine editor.
When Lulu Jemimah married herself, Siima identified with her.
Lulu was being pressured by her family members to get man. She however said it's not her priority. She wants to finish her degree in creative writing first. She studies at the University of Oxford in England, but she is struggling with tuition.
Siima's wedding is a fundraisers event to put Lulu through school. One will have to part with 20k before 7pm and 30k after 7pm to witness Siima say her 'vows' to Bernard.
