Singer David Lutalo is one of the best male vocalists in the country. He has a list of hit songs that have won multiple him awards.
The singer is now under the spotlight after an upcoming musician, Emmanuel Kulishizi, based in Jinja coming out to claim that Lutalo stole his song.
Emmanuel Kulishizi alleges that Lutalo's latest release, "Nkwagalira ddala" is his song.
He says he recorded it seven years ago in Jinja before going on a music break.
He says he lacked finances to push his career at the time. He faults Lutalo for replicating his song, and threatens to take legal action.
