Popular comedian Alex Muhangi last week held his final show at the Bukoto based Dinners lounge following a chain of disputes with venue management.
The skinny comedian who also doubles as the CEO of Masters studio will shift his weekly comedy store to club 400 which is located just a stone throw away from his former workstation. Our efforts to find him for a comment on this were all in vain as he couldn’t pick his calls by the press time.
Comedy store has been at Dinners lounge for the last two years. An Insider informed us that source of the feud was as a result of money issues. Alex Muhangi scooped partnerships from local televisions like NBS and NTV and was individually pocketing the money that came from providing content.
In addition, he personalized the Thursday comedy to Comedy Store and was only promoting his night ignoring other night themes hosted at Dinners. However, we wait to see if he will pull it off at the new location.
