Kiggundu Brian commonly known as Bruno K shed tears at The Uganda Music Awards (TUMA) held at Kampala Serena hotel Conference hall last Friday night.
The singer who banged Best reggae artiste accolade beating Apass, Juliana Kanyomozi, Jah Brixman and General Czar sobbed during the acceptance speech.
"This means a lot to me because all what other people do is to criticize us especially for me who began out with doing covers" broke into tears.
Bruno K broke to fame after competing in Airtel trace music star competition in 2015.
He further narrated about his reaction after losing out in the competition,
"I felt like giving up on music after losing but my mother hugged me and said, Bruno your bigger than just a music competition" he added.
