The family of late Badru Kateregga who died at Panamera bar owned city rally driver Desh Kananura is cursing after he was acquitted of all charges.

They claim that Kananura used his state connections to get away with murder.  The family source says they are calling upon humanitarian NGOs to help them get justice. And for the last week, they've been busy searching for the top and highly skilled lawyers to help in the matter.

Family members still believe that they have substantial evidence that Desh killed their son.

Desh is a cousin to Mondo Kagonyera and he is a very tight friend to President Museveni young brother called Toyota. It's this they claim justice interfered.

It should be noted, High Court in Kampala, presided over by Justice Joseph Murangira acquitted Kananura of murder charges last week. And in his judgment, Justice Murangira said that prosecution failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Kananura participated in the said murder. It was allegedly that Badru was beaten to death on orders from Desh but he denied the allegations.

We will keep you posted.
