One of Jinja's best hang out Laftaz lounge located at the rugby grounds was on Friday evening shut down by National Environment Management Authority.
However, the core reason for the shut down of the place is not yet clear though the sound equipment was all detained by the authority. The inspection by NEMA has been so intense in Jinja town lately.
Meanwhile, alternative sources say, the closure is due to noise pollution.
