There may have been plenty of innovative performances tonight, but there is no denying that this year’s MTV Video Music Awards belonged entirely to Beyoncé and Rihanna, the two women who spent the most time on stage
Queen Bey took home a number of trophies, including Video of the Year, which this time around was a highly competitive race. In coming out on top, Beyoncé beat out excellent clips from the likes of Justin Bieber, Adele, Drake and Kanye West.
