Rising Star Awards started its roots in Canada where the process reached such a large scale that Justin Bieber was set to be keynote performer, due to security measures and the scale of event the show had to be postponed to possibly 2020.
However, this has not stopped their drive to appreciate talent and brands based on merit, hard work, and fans choices both nationally in Uganda and internationally.
“The show will recognize exceptional talents, appreciate fallen stars/artists, acknowledge iconic/mentor artists and get the collaboration of Ugandans both home and abroad with a possible live stream on TV on one of Uganda’s National Broadcast channels of the show” - Said Carolyn Obina : the company’s Executive Director.
