The struggling dancehall artist King Michael whose former stage name was DJ Michael has yet been involved in what they a call “caught between a hot battle” between top South Sudanese promoters over his performance in Juba.
The identified promoters Sam and Mose are supposedly under each other’s necks after Mose offered a mega deal of huge dollars to King Michael to perform next month at Masks club; of which promoter Sam was first to book him for a show at Club Vegas in July this year.
When promoter Sam realized that Mose’s offer to King Michael might cost him a flop in July, he lost it and attacked Mose furiously.
King Michael is known to have reaped a lot from South Sudan for years with his outstanding dancehall performances unlike most Ugandan artists who fear for their lives in this war torn country.
