City MC and Mr. Showbiz Edwin Katamba, commonly known as MC Kats has quit NTV as Xposed presenter.
According to sources MC Kats handed in his resignation last month after agreeing terms with NBS. It is said MC Kats last year handed in his resignation letter to NTV management after they failed to fulfill its pledge of increasing his salary as promised earlier
However, the Kamwokya based station came to his rescue increasing his NTV salary of to Shs800, 000 to apparently to Shs1.2 million.
Meanwhile, Kats will have a new music show similar to the one of NTV ‘The Beat’ presented by Douglas! The show which is slated to start on Monday will be airing at 5:00pm from Monday to Friday
He joins others who left NTV in the past months among who include Solomon Serwanjja and RukhShana Namuyimba.
