IGP in New Police Reshuffles after Kasese Attacks

The Inspector General of Police, Kale Kayihura has carried out a mini reshuffle affecting senior officers in the disaster prone Rwenzori sub region.

 In a letter seen by this website, the IGP has with immediate effect replaced Bob Kagarura, the Rwenzori East Regional Police Commander with Deo Obora who has been in Sezibwa region and Kasese District Police Commander, Vincent Mwesigwa with Sam Odong who has been in Luuka.

Meanwhile, Kagarura now goes to Sezibwa region, while Vincent Mwesigwa has been transferred to Bwera as DPC.

ASP Kirumira Muhamadi has also been transferred from Bwera Division to Old Kampala as DPC, ASP Ochamulinga Emmanuel from Old Kampala to the Directorate of operations police headquarters as staff officer.

Others are; ASP Suubi Sam from Lira to Hima as DPC, ASP Baganzi Julius has also been confirmed as DPC Katwe, and ASP Maumbe Jackson from Hima to Police headquarters Directorate of operations as staff officer.
