Uganda’s number one hip-hop artiste Dan Kigozi aka Navio this week struck juicy deal that will see the rapper be the judge of a new competition under the Vodafone dubbed, Vodafone Whatsapp Mania tagline.
Vodafone Whatsapp Mania is music competition that will see youths in Uganda compete for a Shs20 million music record contract at Talent Africa and Deuces Entertainment Group.
Sources have confided to us that that Navio will earn more than Shs 8 million from the deal. We have also learned other judges of the competition include; Ken Daniels Kayongo, a music producer and Swahili Nation singer, Moses Serugo, and Rukh-Shana Namuyimba, the communications manager at Vodafone Uganda.
The grand finale to select the winner will be held in Kampala on April 7, 2016 with the competition having started last week. However, call for entries into the competition will run until March 24, 2016.
