Makerere University has increased the graduation fees to 100%. The university has released a notice indicating payment terms and increases for the same.
This comes at a time when the University is preparing for their graduation which is coming in May 2022. The graduands will also purchase their graduation gowns only from the Campus.
Last year, they were charged Shs 110,000 and had an option of buying the gowns from outside vendors.
The students will have to pay 30,000 as Certificate fee, 10,000 as Convocation fee, 40,000 as graduation fee, 10,000 as graduation certification fees, 98,000 for the graduation gown, and 30,000 for the Transcript fee.
The graduation is set to take place from 23rd to 27th of May this year at Makerere University.
