The police in Kitgumhave in custody three suspects in relations to robberies registered in the district.
According to the deputy police spokesperson Polly Namaye, the notorious robbers are Muloni John, Adagwa Richar, and Kidega Ivan.
According to Namaye, the trio had planned a robbery on Stanbic Bank Kitgum branch but police moved swiftly and arrested them.
She explains that on August 14th, three robberies were carried out in the district.

The police in Busia have recovered an SMG rifle that was found abandoned in a rubbish pit. According to Polly Namaye, the gun was recovered on August 1th 2016 by passers-by who then informed police.
The police later collected the gun and found that its muzzle and the butt had been cut, possibly to make it easier to conceal.
The gun was recovered from Magibira B village, Busia municipality, Busia district.
