Bobi Wine has turned down event organizers of the Red Carpet Awards in South Africa who included him as a special guest on their event posters without his consent.
The Ghetto President through his Facebook fan page, he published a statement denying the involvement in the awards and explicitly stated that he will not attend the event. He wrote;
This is to inform my fan base In South Africa that neither me nor my management team was contacted about the concert below. Am therefore NOT going to attend the "awards" being talked of in that poster.

He also added that, the organizers are being investigated by his legal team to prevent fraud and unfavorable criticism.
My legal team in South Africa carries out their duty of finding and bringing to justice the organiser of that event, please don’t be duped of your money. Am not coming down to you in October!!”
