Following Eddy Kenzo’s win of the International viewer’s choice award at the recently concluded BET Awards, you would think that at least people with a music back ground would be happy for him because he achieved what they couldn’t achieve, well that doesn’t apply to Robert Ssegawa.
Robert Ssegawa is supposedly a legendary song writer and producer who was famously known in the early 2000s for his works on a song called “FODA” by East World.
With that background, he felt had the audacity to criticize Eddy Kenzo.
Robert said the Award had nothing to do with the music — “It wasn’t the song awarded.” So if wasn’t the song awarded, then what was awarded — “It was the video named ‘Ghetto Kids’ which went viral” there is a lot of videos that go viral on YOUTUBE even at a much higher proportion than “Ghetto kids” but none of them got nominated because they did have song playing in back ground. So what do have to say about that — “I have never seen anyone as lucky as Kenzo.”

To me, the Good Lyfe duo were nominated in a bigger category, a reason why they even accessed the stage, unlike Kenzo, who didn’t even access where the awards were being held,”
