Screw BET, Eddy Kenzo is Still An Upcoming Artist — Bebe Cool

Eddy Kenzo just got bullied again, even after his record of being the first Ugandan to win a BET Award ... and by — who else — Bebe Cool.

This is as shocking as it is stupid.

Bebe Cool just called Eddy Kenzo an upcoming artist even after Eddy's BET Award win. Bebe Cool is not about to take back his words, but rather rain more gas into the fire.

In a statement he just released alongside the music video for his new song "Byebyo", Bebe Cool says he has been attacked by Ugandans for calling Eddy Kenzo an upcoming artist, BUT, he will not take that back because Upcoming is a category ... and he feels Eddy Kenzo is in that category.

Lawd!! Even after winning the BET Award, Eddy Kenzo still falls victim of Bebe Cool's arrogance and haughtiness.

Congratulations!!!!! Eddy Kenzo Wins 2015 BET Award.

Some fans have criticised me for calling Eddy Kenzo an upcoming artist and of which am very sure its not an abuse rather a category -- Bebe Cool said.

Yep, you read that right. Bebe Cool's own fans criticized him for calling an internationally recognized artist upcoming. Bebe's own fans tried to remind him that Kenzo has shown Uganda to the world. But his response is more shocking than helpful.

Apparently, winning a BET Award, performing at AFCON, having two videos with over 11M YouTube views, being reached out by Africa's biggest stars for collaborations and being nominated in various international awards doesn't impress "Big Size", whose biggest video "Love You Everyday"—nominated for a MAMA award—has less than 690K YouTube views.

Not following your dreams makes you feel unaccomplished, luckily, Eddy Kenzo has followed his and he's living them too ... but let's face it, not everyone is happy for him. Just like the Sitya Loss singer quoted, "some people are jealous of me" ... since he actively is accomplishing better dreams.

A few days ago, Eddy Kenzo reveled that Bebe Cool hates him because the latter has fear of competition, among other things.

Bebe Cool Hates Competition ---Eddy Kenzo

Recently after his nomination, We all as Ugandans got together and voted for him hence the win, and immediately after the win, his misguided fans have gone around saying they will not vote for Bebe Cool because he called Kenzo an upcoming artist 2 years ago, and that's the kind of hypocrisy some Ugandans have. -- Bebe Cool added

Let's rewind that for a second, did Bebe Cool say he voted ... because if we can all go back to the article published about 14 days ago, Bebe Cool's vote was exposed and realised as invalid. And, ahh ... invalid votes do not count, right?! — That's what I thought!

Bebe Cool Votes For Kenzo In BET Awards ... But Something Is WRONG?!

Well i want to congratulate my Ugandan brother upon his achievement in the BET but am not about to take back my word because am very sure theres a difference between the pioneers and upcoming but both respected and both capable of anything. -- Bebe added.

No one has ever said Bebe Cool is not a legend and has't achieved much for this country ... but it seems he doubts himself, A LOT. Why is there need to start fights with people who are trying to make it. Is it the fear of being neglected, forgotten or it's genetic? Just asking.

Bebe Cool went ahead to embarrass Eddy Kenzo in a cryptic statement that reads:

Today i want to urge Ugandans and East Africans as a whole that i don't want to achieve any Awards for mercy reasons but my music to stand for me. As a musician i have done my duty to do music that can get us into the MTV level of competition, and at this level, the rest depends on my country to achieve that Award.

Big Size means to say Eddy won the BET Award out of pity? Really?! Now that's ridiculous.

When Bebe Cool's Clarence Peters' Love You Everyday music video was nominated in MAMA for Best Video of the Year, Bebe rushed into making banners begging people to vote. But that's okay, because it's ... Bebe Cool.

The most hilarious of the banners being "Team FIRE BASE, Vote Bebe Cool".

"As a musician i have done my duty to do music that can get us into the MTV level of competition".

A few months ago, Howwe.biz published an article calling MTV Base Africa and Channel O hypocrites for not playing songs from all African countries but rather focusing on Nigerian and South African music. A few tweeps called upon us to join the fight against the level of discrimination the two Tv stations had gotten to. The campaign started when we all realized Bebe Cool's bang-up video for love you everyday was not airing. According to various reports, Bebe Cool was begging and cashing in lots for his video to be aired.

US Embassy Congratulates Eddy Kenzo on Winning BET Award

While Radio & Weasel, Maurice Kirya, Jose Chameleone and Pallaso's music echoed at MTV Base Africa, it was still a sputter to see Bebe Cool become a usual, and it still is.

We conducted a poll to see how much people hate or love Bebe Cool and his music, the results are unbelievable.

About Bebe Cool's Music, 65% of the people said they love his songs, the rest do not. But the poll about whether Bebe Cool is loved as a person reveled that over 70% of the people hate him, 15% don't care and the rest love him.

Ugandan music is much more than just songs but morals too ... and it deserves much better than unnecessary hate.

Bebe Cool's Provocative Message To Eddy Kenzo's Fans.

Is Bebe Cool right for calling Eddy Kenzo an Upcoming artist, even after Kenzo's BET Award?
