Bebe Cool says he has been singing for the past 25 years, and for all that time, he has referred to himself as the best in the industry. However, in the past year, Bebe Cool has degraded himself all in need to ascend to the international scene — and his fans are getting worried, and disappointed.

Following the "Love You Everyday" video nomination at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2015, Bebe Cool just shared another degrading post and fans think he is proving he will go to many lengths to look impressive, good, and worthy towards Nigerians and South Africans.

In Bebe's quest for higher status and privilege, he has become unguarded and his fans have began to notice how desperate and transparent his attempts are.

Does he really care that people are starting to think that way?

On March 31. 2014, Bebe Cool shared a post expressing his disappointment in Ugandan DJ's for choosing to play Nigerian over Ugandan music. He asked all "Ugandan artists to ignore Ugandan DJs, TVs and Radio Stations who opt to play Nigerian music more than Ugandan".

His full statement read:

My advise to Ugandan artists, ignore all Ugandan DJS ,TVS and RADIO STATIOS who opt to play Nigerian music more than Ugandan.I personally pity them coz they do not have a single idea how hard it was to push out Lingala music making Ugandan music a priority hence creating jobs for our brothers and sisters who today r stars.I FULLY RESPECT ALL DJS WHO R TAKING UGANDAN MUSIC AS A PRIORITY and all the other music next.Am not saying Nigerian music shud not be played,it shud be played as much as any other country music but UGANDAN MUSIC MUST BE PLAYED MORE.PATRIOTISM(don't forget in Nigeria they play Nigerian music more).thx

We were all happy about his statement because it had a message that was going to change the music industry for the better.

After the release of his biggest hit "Love You Everyday", apparently written by Nabaasa Esther, Bebe Cool shared a statement "praising" Nigerian music. A full statement that appeared on his facebook fan page read:

This morning I woke up to appriciate THE GOOD IN EVERY BAD.As we all may remember that we thought we had a very bad time last year when Nigerian music took over African countries and the rest of the world, when djs played 70%Nigerian music particularly in Uganda,u come to realise that EVERY BAD THING HAS SOMETHING GOOD IN IT.If u notice now, that wave of Nigeria music forced all LAZY African artist to up their game and do better quality audio and videos. In Uganda we had copied the JAMAICAN sickness of doing good songs and shooting low quality camcorder videos which affected our music in general. After the Nigerian wave, all African artists woke up to quality and high level competition in both audio and video production which is a good thing for African music.I Particularly want to thank the NIGERIAN music fraternity for raising the African HOPE in the music industry.Thumbs up.TWENDE SASA.

Yesterday, Bebe Cool shared a tweet that most are calling a desperate move to look impressive and worthy towards the Nigerians and South Africans.

What do you think?

Is Bebe Cool desperately seeking to look impressive and worthy towards the Nigerians and South Africans?
