News coming in from the Serena Hotel based television “NTV” is that former KFM presenter Aisha Ailibai will be joining the team with in the next few days.
According to a reliable source Aisha will be announced as part of NTV after going through an in house vetting committee process. Given her to her past journalistic experience on radios that include Capital FM and KFM she came out on top.
This development comes just hours after Flavia Tumusiime a presenter at was recruited as a news anchor.
Apparently, It turns out that after these two recruitments, the staff at the station are on tension over their own job security, asking questions of who is next in line for dismissed, while bearing in mind of Anita Fabiola’s dismissal and Mc Kats suspension.
However, this drama is rooted to the current completion within the Television business and MD Agie Konde’s failure to out compete Bukedde and NBS at local market share.
According to The Independent, NTV has suffered a drop in IPSOS Synovate ratings to Number 3 after being leap frogged by Bukedde and NBS in the Television business rating. NTV’s Market share has been dropping considerably since 2011 up to now.
Perhaps the recruitment old time favorites (Aisha Ailibai and Flavia Tumusiime) will prevent further slump.
