Today 25th Jan 2015, the Holy Spirit summoned Cindy Sanyu to worship with the born agains. The controversial singer was greeted by a gospel choir as she walked into Praises of Light the World Church in Nansana. She was invited by senior pastor, Wilson Bugembe, who invited top celebrities in Uganda to spare some time to listen to the word of the Lord
More interesting was the way Cindy was anointed! She was such a composed angel in church! She sang her heart out, prayed like she was asking God to make sure she returns to Church!! Yes, Cindy can be a pastor, with all the antics she pulled today — Praise the Lord reader! woow!
Cindy was mobbed for pictures after the service, however some members of the congregation were disgusted by her hair and Shades! See Photo:
One member said,
"I feel sorry for her because, first of all, she’s not respecting God’s house. And second of all, I don’t think she really cares for people as she should-why doesn’t she leave Phina Mugerwa’s Husband alone. Now that she has come here, let her repent that sin"
We're not sure if Cindy plans to attend the church next week, but she did tell friends that the service was “fabulous.” And it’s the beginning of Church now.
