Kawempe South Member of Parliament Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira is allegedly battling a strange illness at a medical center in Kampala.
This was revealed by gossip monger Kasuku, who claimed the MP has been unwell for almost a week.
Kasuku alleged that the member of parliament's illness is linked to food poisoning. He said the family, however, chose to keep it a secret out of respect for the ailing MP.
"I have been told Kazibwe Bashir is bedridden, and his sickness is linked to food poisoning. I spoke to one of his workers, and he confirmed the sickness, stating that his condition is worrying," Kasuku partly claimed in a video that is circulating on social media.
Kazibwe Bashir represents Kawempe South in the Parliament of Uganda. He is also a former president of the Uganda Journalists Association and happens to be the owner of Nice Television.
