Princess Sheila Nvanungi has expressed deep concern for the health of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi and urged Buganda Kingdom officials to cancel the Kabaka birthday run scheduled for April 16th, 2023.
In a video clip shared online, the veteran singer and media personality emphasized that Kabaka's health is deteriorating and that it would not be appropriate for people to use the event to celebrate life.
"Kabaka doesn't need a birthday marathon. Buganda should instead hold a prayer session for him," Sheila Nvanungi explained in the video
Sheila Nvanungi stressed that it is important to prioritize Kabaka's well-being over any public event.
She suggested that a nationwide prayer ceremony should be held instead of the Kabaka Birthday Run.
It is worth noting that Kabaka Mutebi was recently flown out of the country for special medical treatment in Germany.
